original, unusual Edition. Citri the Watchtower is the translator of this book manuscript fourteenth attributed to Cabart of Villemont. The first edition is also and equally to the date 1679.
Bound in full red morocco of the late nineteenth signed Brany on the inside cover in gold letters. Title, date and place browned. gilt edges. Rich inner frieze. Very nice copy with fresh paper.
The original historian of this rare book is given in the preface as a witness to the loss of the kingdom of Jerusalem. The book begins with the history of the Christian kings of Jerusalem, then continues by focusing on the protagonists of the last crusade, including Richard Lion Heart.
