Original, one of 69 numbered copies on Holland Publishing, printing head. Binders half grief hazelnut corners, spine lightly faded with four nerves purposes set with black nets, dishes marbled paper, guards and contreplats paper moiré, covers and spine preserved, golden heads. Important and valuable autograph dedication signed by the author, on the first volume Buffet Paul Beauregard, hero of the Resistance and of the Liberation. Paul Buffet, aka Jacques Beauregard hear the appeal on June 18 in Port-Vendres where he is trying to reach London without success. In January 1941, he joined the network "France first" Lyon and became, in 1942, the National Technical Head clandestine transmissions in occupied France. It creates a PTT service thus allowing eavesdropping on German networks, such as those in Fort Montluc-school military liaison Health in Lyon. It also organizes the Vercors for a military health service comprising 40 doctors and surgeons and is actively involved in attempts to deliver Jean Moulin and his Staff. Pursued by the Gestapo, he was shot and arrested July 22, 1943 in Lyon. Tortured and sentenced to death, it is also imprisoned at Fort Monluc. It creates within the prison service information and assistance to escape many of his peers. On 11 September, he managed to get a ride to his home and escaped in turn by his deputy Antoine Duchêne who was killed by the Gestapo. Precious copy enriched top of a large handwritten dedication signed.
