Roland Barthes sends this letter to tell his correspondent when he will arrive at Vézelay. He also writes to him that he will be accompanied by Robbe-Grillet. This trip presumably aims for a conference on realism that took place in 1956 because we know that Robbe-Grillet attended this one.
