Bound in olive green morocco, gilt date at the foot of the spine, plates embellished with tan morocco panel stamps with geometric outlines, the inside of which have been laid with strips of brown morocco appearing like both snakeskin and the outline of a closed fist, all edges gilt, preserved wrappers and spine, chemise in half olive green morocco in strips, white paper boards, slipcase lined in olive green morocco, white paper boards, elegant and spectacular binding signed D. H. Mercher.
