Binding in full marbled brown calfskin. Back with ornate nerves. Missing title label. 2 small gaps on the top plate, one on the lower plate. Good copy, fresh.
Summary of all chemical experiments governed by the postulate of phlogiston theory which implies that there is a fluid in the air at the origin of combustion. This theory was refuted by the discovery of the role of air oxygen in the combustion process by Lavoisier in the late eighteenth century.
