First edition illustrated with a folding map of the city frontispiece, a title thumbnail of arms of the city, a board representing the tomb of the two lovers, and 116 boards of arms.
Copy of arms of the city of Lyon hit on hot dishes.
Bound in full sheepskin girlfriend at the time. Back with five ornate nerves. Parts of title and volume numbers red. Filet golden framing dishes with arms of the city of Lyon. All red edges. Some frictions and scuffs.
The history of Lyon has been compiled from the work of several authors, including Father Ménestrier. The book lists the aldermen and councilors until 1597, and it will find the weapons of all the aldermen and provost of the merchants. The work was sponsored by a provost merchant practical purposes, to promote the history of the city of Lyon, its beauties and monuments to the new judges, in a simple and readable.
