Gregorio FUNES

First Edition. Illustrated with a portrait frontispiece on steel, inset. Paperback, in vintage paper. The papers for the three volumes are different, but the same bill. Misses the board of volume 3 and the back (in part) Volume 1, 2 and 3 Volume 3 covers lack the upper right corner on 3 leaves and a pale yellow stain from fading over half of the book. Beautiful copys however, because uncut and untrimmed, and chilled, except the third volume which suffered moisture. Important for the history of Buesno Aires and surrounding regions book (Paraguay, Argentina, coasts of Brazil, Tucuman is a small province of Argentina) made from original document. This story is all the more remarkable because it is the work of a native Argentina installed Buesno Ayres. Gregorio Funes (1749-1829), historian, jurist and educator, was a major figure in the fledgling country and the Argentine revolution. --- Please note that the translation in english is done automatically, we apologize if the formulas are inaccurate.
