First edition, brown sheepskin rare.Pleine contemporary. Back with five nerves ornate and having a piece of red morocco. Gaps at the head and tail awkwardly restored same for corners. Scuffs and nicks on the front cover. Some very tiny mouillures.Un banner bearing the address of Charles Osmont was pasted in place of the address of the publisher; the front of the page can be read upside Chez Guillaume Cavelier 1700 (we do not know the reason for the substitution, or perhaps Charles Osmont shared it this year and sold it himself).
