Full speckled brown sheepskin contemporary. Back tooled raised florets 4. Part of title in red morocco. Caps threadbare. Upper joint open tail 1cm. 3 corners bumped and bare. Although the book is presented solely as a satirical story today with key and an allegory of the Regency, all the figures are in oriental names; Mahmoud is a true oriental tale and contains many notes on the history of the caliphs and the manners and customs of the Arabs; Mahmoud also contains no recipes in vogue in Europe writing a story, but his writing borrows its methods in historical narrative, we see the evolution of a conqueror.
