New edition, after the original was published in 1681. The second part has its own title page. Full Sheepskin and speckled brown ice contemporary. Back tooled raised. Part of title in red morocco. Head cap restored. Tail partly torn. Corners bumped. Reissue of the classic that was the manners of Israelite; for the first time, a book praised the people without prejudice. Christian morals were published in 1682 for the first time, the two works are almost always assembled thereafter.
