Fourth year after the first edition published in 1791. Full Sheepskin contemporary. Smooth back ornate, repeated in 4 boxes comprising iron weapons, shield and helmet. Double fillet border on covers. A piece of black and red title. This is the last historical work of famous Scottish historian William Robertson, pastor of the Presbyterian Church and dean of the University of Edinburgh. The author looks closely by Indian civilization and its current operation and also its entry into the colonial empire.
