Second edition. Editor's mark on the title page, initial letter.
Binding full brown sheepskin contemporary. Back with ornate nerves. title label of brown sheepskin. Friction. Cut out of the first third of the first page of guard allowing to see the title. Good copy.
According to Cioranescu, this adaptation was made from the Spanish version of Miguel de Luna (1638) and The History of the Conquest of Spain by the Moors (1680) of the same Luna, which he attributed falsely to Abulcassin Price Abentarik. Al-Mansu, where Almanzor was a military leader and a statesman who died in the year 1000, famous for his conquests in Spain.
