Lyon edition of this work done by Ioannes Bernartius in 1593 italics. Printing. The first part contains three great works of Statius and a second endowed with a title page reviews and ratings of various scholars. Full vellum vintage flexible flaps. Author's name in pen on the back. traces of laces. 2 gaps in title page, high margin on each side of the page. A pale wetting current to half the work, low margin. Edition brings together three poetic works of Statius known Thebais telling the story of the son of Oedipus confronting the kingdom of Thebes (famous and often treated theme); the Sylvae, a collection of poems and Achilleid, which contained several épidodes the story of Achilles, and will remain unfinished.
