Copy to the arms of Anne Leo II de Montmorency, Marquis de Fosseux (or Fosseuse), then Duke of Montmorency, only son of Anne-Leon I, Baron de Montmorency, Lieutenant General, and Anne-Marie-Barbe de Ville, his first wife, first called the Marquis de Fosseuse, was born on August 11, 1731; first menin the Dauphin and captain-lieutenant of the gendarmes of the queen, in May 1745, he was knighted of Saint-Louis, April 3, 1758, and promoted brigadier of cavalry in December 1761, and marshal of camp in June 1753 He emigrated to Munster during the Revolution and died in this city on September 1, 1799.
