New edition, illustrated with two headpieces representing Christ.
Bound in full red morocco vintage lined with red morocco with lace. Back with nerves decorated box, title and volume number gilded. Mentoring net on the boards. Roll on turns. Red morocco on contreplats with a wide frieze with lace. gilt edges. spine slightly thinned. Very nice copy, in addition to a nice freshness, notwithstanding discharge of red morocco on child slips.
The first volume is occupied by the Office, the latter had earlier published under the title: "Tradition of the Fathers of the Church & Ecclesiastical authors regarding the reality of the body & blood of Christ in the Eucharist." The collection gathers in fact the writings of the church fathers on the theme of the Eucharist, or Holy Sacrament.
