Small missing tail. Good exemplaire.Ce famous journey was undertaken in March 1685 in Brest, where the author was back on June 18th 1686 This is one of the most important relationships in Thailand. Louis XIV, attracted by the riches of the kingdom of Siam there was an extraordinary hurry embassy which Francois Timoleon de Choisy was gone (with Father Guy Tachard who also gave his book on the subject), its role is to convert the king Christianity while the other part of the embassy was to conclude commercial treaties. The embassy returned with gifts, right for missionaries and diplomatic words.
