Binding in full cardboard modern parchment cream. Piece of black sheepskin title.
The author was one of the members of the scientific commission of Egypt, his mission was to establish a precise survey of the province of Beny-Souef and Fayoum, this mission being coordinated with that of Jomard for Lake Moeris. The relation of the trip dwells on the state of the canals and the irrigation works, the topographic and demographic description of these regions, crucial for the agricultural economy of Egypt.
