ANONYME

Manuscrit original inédit : Prophéties des convulsionnaires sur la Révolution Française. Oeuvre divine.

1800, 17cmx22.8cm, (4) 84pp. 89p. non paginées, relié.

Original manuscript created around 1800
Vintage brown domed paperboard.
The thesis of the manuscript maintains that the convulsionaries are a divine work: "the work of the cross". The Ugenitus bubble that eradicated the Jansenist movement is recounted as a successful plot of the Jesuits. In the first part of the manuscript, which details the consequences of the Ugenitus bubble and the appearance of the convulsionaries, the latter are amply described by their extraordinary and supernatural character: impassibility, invulnerability, miracles, divinations ... The convulsionists thus prophesy the French Revolution , the end of kings and nobles and the recall of the Jews. The second part of the book is devoted to prophetic quotations from convulsionaries (Sister Holda, sister Lacroix), who seem, though in the biblical style, incredibly precise.
