Saint-Laurent du Var 27 Avril 1972, 15x10,5cm, deux cartes postales.


Original collage made by Michel Butor using two postcards views of Grasse (part of the second has been cut into four slats interconnected by two Parisian ties that allow it to unfold and fold at leisure on the whole postcard) that he gathered and assembled with a Parisian tie.
This postcard was sent to his friend the art critic Georges Raillard from Saint-Laurent du Var on April 27, 1972.

Michel Butor is astonished by the multilingual talent and translator of Georges Raillard: "How is it that you translated into Yugoslavian Have you spent some time there?"
