Ferrey Benjamin (1810-1880) was an architect of the Gothic-Revival (Neo-Gothic). He began his architectural activities in London, Bloomsbury, 1834, date of this edition, demonstrating his mastery of Gothic architecture. He was recognized for his early talent for drawing. His career was a success and honors. Benjamin was born at Christ Church, and his father was mayor, we can imagine that the building deeply influenced his vision of architecture. In addition, it is certainly one of the first comprehensive monograph of a monument of église.Ex libris Henry Catleman.
