Bound in brown half shagreen, spine past five bands set with black nets decorated with double coffered cold centers where the golden initials of the great bibliophile Roger Cormenin is repeated five times, golden tail date marbled paper boards, and guards contreplats of handmade paper, small rips on minor cuts, slightly later binding and unsigned.

Provenance: the library Cormenin Roger, son of Louis de Cormenin who was the confidant and secretary of Theophile Gautier and also a close friend of Gustave Flaubert.
