Marcus Tullius CICERON & Antoine François PREVOST D'EXILES (dit Abbé PREVOST)

Lettres de Cicéron qu'on nomme vulgairement familières; traduites en français par l'abbé Prévost

Goujon fils, Paris An X (1801), 13,5x20,5cm, 6 volumes reliés.

New edition of the French translation, revised and expanded historical remarks of common notes, and more tables.
Binders full mottled calf, back smooth decorated with gilt edging and typographical reasons, castors and golden spots on the caps, green morocco tree volume number of pieces, under pieces of red morocco, the first bit fragile volume, framing a gold lace on flat, framing a golden lace on contreplats, guards and contreplats of handmade paper, nets gilded on the cuts, slices blue, some corners bumped, elegant bindings of the time.
The title page of the first volume was marginally restored, otherwise nice copy.

Some minor foxing.
