Illustrated first edition of in-text and inset by Vogel and ornaments by Giraldon (typographic etching). Impression on frozen big vellum. Title page in red and black.
Editor's carton in full chocolate shagreen. Back to false nerves adorned with interlaced numbers 30 and 40. boards decorated with a semi digits 30 and 40, with a frieze framing. We find this semi on the green cover pages. Back cleared evenly, turned tawny. Legers friction at the corners. A hitch in mind.
Very nice copy, perfectly fresh.
