First Edition. Illustrated with two folding maps in the second volume, the statements of Roman tribes. Full Calf granita. flat spine decorated. Part of title and volume number in red morocco. a small gap in the board of volume I. A clear pale yellow wetness early in the book. Beautiful copy. These works include a memoir about the life of Boindin Boindin by himself, his plays, the second volume containing various studies and research of the author: the sounds of language (phonetic studies) Names Roman on Roman tribes, and finally the ancient theater. Boindin was a key figure in the intellectual life of the eighteenth century, one of the pivots of the Cafe Procope, where he was one of the main jousting.
