Bindings in half brown shagreen with corners, smooth backs slightly discolored adorned with romantic arabesques gilded, some light scratches without gravity on the backs, gilt nets in framing of marbled paper, guards and contreplats of pebbled paper, a lower corner of the second volume slightly blunt, marbled slices, blankets trimmed but preserved and glued on the white guards, bindings romantic pastiches.
Illustrated book with 2 frontispieces, 59 inset plates and figures in the text.
Some small foxinges, two tiny holes on the margins and heads of the backs.
