Edition of wich no leading copies exists. Bound in half morocco purple wedge, back with five nerves set with golden threads and decorated with triple gold boxes, date tail, gilt frames on flat marbled, endpapers and contreplats marbled paper, covers and spine preserved, bookplate pasted on a guard, golden head, elegant binding signed Semet & Plumelle. Our copy is enriched by the author's autograph poem entitled "Guest Longfellow" two pages contained in that collection connected at the beginning of volume and connected in-fine, two handwritten pages of the author and a bore original pen representative. Rare and beautiful set well established.
