Text Horace Italique.Pleine sheepskin blond marbled early twentieth pastiche of a seventeenth binding. Back tooled raised. Part of title in red leather and black morocco dating. 2 wedges browned. Lack in cap queue.Edition whose value lies in the comments Laevinius Torrentius (1525-1595) on the odes, satires and epistles, Bishop of Antwerp and scholar, and those of Nanninck Pierre (1500-1557), Dutch scholar Alkmar native, who finished the book by commenting "The Poetic Art" of Horace. Posthumous edition made by the Jesuits of Antwerp, preceded Ode Horatiana P.
