First edition of this Keepsake in large format, illustrated with 23 large steel plates, printed on heavy Velin, by English writers from Reynolds, Turner, Rubens, Frith, and other English painters of the nineteenth century. Blue cardboard editor. Lenègre binder. Great golden plate on the boards. Great irons on the back. A slot of the lower joint 3 cm (nearly invisible). Bites on the margins of the first two boards. Fine copy in a carton in perfect freshness. Wide margins retained. Following typical keepsake texts on various topics, Brummel, Paris, Venice ... and a poem by Hugo the last layer: The lilies of the home.
