Illustrated first edition, one of 70 copies on Holland paper Van Gelder initialed by the author and the artist and containing two states of etchings.
Illustrated book of twelve original etchings engraved by the artist and twenty-three drawings drawn in pencil drawn in typography by Edouard Chimot.
Binding in full morocco red and dark brown, smooth back depicting an infernal landscape incised light brown morocco, gray and dark blue, boards illustrated patterns of flames mordorées entangling incised, golden and brown threads highlighting the separation between red morocco and brown, gilt zigzag net at the tail of the first board, contreplats and guards of red silk, contreplats framed with red and black morocco, gilded nets and cold framed contreplats, gilded head, witnesses and preserved covers. Paper case in the bowl bordered with red morocco. Binding signed A. Bianchi.
Case paper peeled off in places.
Very nice copy.
