Edition on current paper. Binding to bradel half percaline blue sky, smooth spine slightly irradiated with a gold floral pattern, golden double thread tail piece as shagreen cherry boards marbled paper, corners bumped, contemporary binding. Precious autograph signed by the author Jean Ajalbert on the half-title page. Our copy is enriched with a four-page autograph letter signed and dated HGIbels in which he expressed his correspondent of his momentary financial woes, bad circumstances who do find themselves in this situation and finally solicitations wealthy bibliophiles who covet his important collection of manuscripts from the XVIII Fanatics ... Large marginal discoloration affecting the first cover plate and slightly much more half-title page without affecting the autograph dedication of the author autograph.
