Grained sharkskin-effect leather by Alain Devauchelle (dated 2004), various shades of pink with glittering effect, no title to spine, a triangle of mother of pearl applied to centre of upper cover, maroon suede pastedowns and endpapers, covers and spine preserved, half maroon calf chemise with flaps, author and title in palladium, maroon suede lining, the slipcase edged with maroon calf and lined with grey felt
A fine copy in an important artist's binding evoking the esoteric nature of the book.
