Black half-morocco binding with corners, smooth back decorated with a gilded cartouche embellished with a Greek stamped column around which climb golden foliage, date golden in tail, clear spots of discoloration on the margins of the boards, framing of nets Gilded on the plates of marbled paper, guards and counterplates of paper to the vat, golden head on witnesses, blankets and backs conserved, binding of the signed era of Capelle.
Book illustrated with 40 original compositions by Henri Carruchet and 4 unpublished horses from Paul Steck drawn in soft-sided.
A few reds affecting mainly the guards and illustrations in their versos.
Rare.
