Binding in half red shagreen, smooth back slightly thinned decorated with a golden cartouche decorated with golden arabesques, golden date in tail, a tiny scratch with tiny lack of skin on a top corner, golden thread on the marbled paper boards, guards and paper counterplates in the tank, preserved covers and back, golden head, ex-libris pasted on the back of the first binding cover, Contemporary binding signed by Yseux successor to Thierry-Simier.
Provenance: from the library of the castle of Vertcoeur with mention of the provenance struck with gold at the top of the first board.
Beautiful copy pleasantly established.
