First Edition of any first print. "The first titles, the rarest, are in the name of Michel Lévy, the following in the names of Michel Lévy and Pagnerre". "In general, this book is often in a good state of interior freshness, but most often in fairly simple bindings ..."; this copy, in the name of the publisher Lévy alone, is presented in a pretty half time binding.
Binders in half red shagreen contemporary. Back with false nerves adorned with boxes in semi ermine. Titres and golden tomatoes. Some rare foxing on a very fresh paper. Nice copy.
