Edition adorned with 11 illustrations inset plate engraved on wood of Gustave Doré.
Binding half morocco red with corners, back with five nerves set with black nets decorated with double cold boxes, figure golden center back, framing black nets on marbled paper boards, a very slight hitch at the top of the first flat, guards and contreplats of handmade paper, a slightly blunted corner, gilded head, bookplate pasted leading a contreplat, elegant binding signed the days of Charles Petit successor Simier.
Rare spots without gravity.
Beautiful copy pleasantly set in an elegant contemporary binding signed by Petit.
