Binders half red calf with corners, back with four nerves set with gilded nets quadruple adorned with golden jewels ornamented romantic in their centers a mosaic piece of olive green morocco, gilt friezes heads and tails, marbled paper plates, guards and contreplats of handmade paper, some corners bumped, romantic bindings of the time.
Illustrated book frontispiece of the first volume of an engraved portrait of Jean de La Fontaine and etchings hors-texte Tony Johannot.
