Illustrated edition first printing of 300 vignettes on wood in-text Nanteuil, Baron, French ... text in a frame.
Bound in blue half time to shagreen over night. Smooth back adorned with romantic long irons. Irons and nets on the boards and corners. Beautiful marbled paper. Guards green moire. Few traces of enlightenment without consequence. A few scattered spots, but on a white paper (despite some notebooks browned in the first volume). Very nice copy, solidly bound.
