Edition illustrated many reprodutions of watercolors by the artist. One of 1500 numbered copies on vellum for each volume.
Volumes I to V are fortified with 8 boards album reproduced in collotype on Japanese paper "orient".
The seventh and final volume (Volume 6 actually because the volume is 3 doubles) is an album containing 100 boards reproducing watercolors by the artist.
The book is composed as follows:
- Volume 1: Game of fresh water, marshes, ponds, rivers
- Volume 2: Game sailors, the sea and its shores
- Volume 3: The forest and its hosts I and II are 2 volumes
- Volume 4: retrievers, game birds from the plains and woods
- Volume 5: mountain Gibiers
- Volume 6: 100 sheets of unpublished album for freshwater game, sea game, the forest and its hosts, the plain and the woods, the mountains.
Back slightly insolated and including bites, otherwise enjoyable set that rarely complete encountered in 7 volumes.
