Binding in half black shagreen with corners, back four nerves decorated with golden decorative patterns of cironstance: two helmets of Poilus and a hairy loading bayonet with the barrel, framing of golden fliets on the plates of paper with geometric patterns, guards and counterplates of marbled paper , covers and back preserved, golden head, modern bookplate pasted at the head of a counterplate.
We attach a postcard representing the war memorial of Verdun and a prospectus of the Douaumont ossuary.
Rare autograph signed by Philippe Pétain: "To Jacques Braun so that he continues to work well. July 14, 1929".
