Permière plaque with very shiny golds. Small stains in the cartridge. Beautiful clean back, with marked golds, the headdresses a little sagging, with a black line along the back, in the red frame, 10 cm. Exemplary a little warped. second board well. Mathias Sandorf is posthumously dedicated to Alexandre Dumas. Jules Verne pays tribute in this novel to the author of the Count of Monte Cristo ("In this book, I tried to make Matthias Sandorf the Monte Cristo Extraordinary Voyages."); Sandorf was like him imprisoned and betrayed and his adventures will retrace his revenge. The novel takes place on the Mediterranean rim of southern Europe.
