[CURIOSA] Le Théâtre érotique de la rue de la Santé. Son histoire

S.n., Batignolles 1864-1866, 11x16,5cm, 2 parties reliées en un volume.

Second edition of this collection of erotica, partly original, it is decorated with 2 frontispieces engraved on copper by Félicien Rops, drawn on China, and is accompanied by an invitation ticket to the representation of the Last day of sentenced facsimile.
Contemporary binding half red morocco with corners, back with five nerves decorated with gilded nets, double gilded coffered and cold florets, cold fillet on paper plates to the tank, gilded head on witnesses.
The book, first published in 1864, brings together texts represented in private in 1862 in a room located in the Batignolles Street Health. It contains the same autograph dedication of the authors, plus a few documents concerning them, and a fun History of Erotic Theatre Street Health, in which are found the names of the authors of the 1864 edition meant only by difficult metaphors to seize (Pia).
