Rare counterfeit from the first edition, illustrated with 6 figures. One distinguishes it by its turned figures, the subjects having passed from the right towards the left. The first volume takes up the title sticker from volume II of the original, but turned over, winged love flying to the right. The second vignette is only an ornament, a frame, while in the original, there is a scene in the frame.
Binding in full brown calf of marbled contemporary. Ornate nerved back. title labels in red morocco, number pieces in black morocco. Head caps partially torn off. Tail cap of volume II idem. Upper bit of volume I split at the head. Upper bit of volume II split into tail. Despite the flaws, good copy.
