Cazotte (1719-1792) is one of the forerunners of the fantastic tale and one of the most intriguing figures in French literature. Ollivier was written, according to the anonymous biographer prefacing the playful works to numb the son of the Duke of Burgundy, this tale (not poem) tells the story of a page having knocked up the daughter of his master and driven from Tours and pursued by the latter, which it save your life again. A hermit allow him to see the bottom of a glass that happens to Tours.
