The latter ran a trial about a young girl who had been placed in a convent against her will. Diderot was instructed to write letters to the Marquis this girl and make him believe in his escape. These letters constituted religious. The novel remains unfinished and has no desire Diderot, as a precaution, to publish it. In 1780, he changed his manuscript corrects.
