New edition after the original from 1562. Rare. Brunet II, 789. Edition italics illustrated twenty figures in and out of curious objects including text combining letters. A copy in the library of Manchester, we have found nothing in France and Germany. Vellum full time, smooth back and as long manuscript pen. A tear on the back (1 cm). Pages restored custody, title page has been reinforced by two small pieces of paper on the back. Lodovico Dolce (1508-1568), man of letters and Venetian humanist, busied editions of classic Italian texts (Dante, Petrarch ...) in collaboration with Ferrari publisher and renewed the genre that bears his mark. He translated the metamorphoses Italian and wrote several dialogues on which a painting featuring Vasari and Aretino, and another on the color properties. He wrote such plays.
