First published in 12 Poems Malleville. The first edition in 4 dates back to 1649. Speckled calf Full time. Back to nerves nicely decorated with interlacing and lilies. Part of title in red morocco. Restored head cover, and two corners. Good copy. The poet Claude Malleville (1597-1647) is one of the most prominent representatives of the generation immediately following that of Malherbe. It is, from its beginnings to 1620, enjoyed a poet, accustomed to the Hotel de Rambouillet, it works brilliantly Garland Julie and consists of roundels and epigrams that recommend the tour and the ease of the invoice.
