The best and most complete editions of Regnard, when it contains much the fifth and sixth volumes, fired small number (as well as Cohen suggests), and found rarely joined the top four. It is illustrated with a portrait of the author by Rigaud engraved by Tardieu and beautiful figures of 11 and Marillier Moreau, engraved by Delignon, Duponchel, etc. The information and warnings are Garnier.
Binders full fair calf porphyry contemporary. back smooth decorated, wheels tails and heads. parts of title and volume number in green morocco. Triple net framing on the boards. Slight lack a-piece. Friction copings, curbs. A wormhole tail of Volume II. spine clarified. Mors tail chopped Volume VI. Very nice copy, despite minor defects.
Volume 1 is dedicated to travel books, volumes 2-4 to the theater, and volumes 5 and 6 in the Italian theater. This neat editing, printing beautiful, quality prints, joined the great successes of publications prepared on the printing Mr. (Racine, Corneille).
