Two original ink on heavy paper, each representing two men conversing in two different styles. Buffer sale Giraud lower right of the sheet. Three tiny tear in top of the sheet and some very tiny foxing.
Giraud is a painter, watercolorist, pastel artist and engraver. His father obtained a scholarship to the Empress Marie-Louise of Austria, allowing the boy to get into a school Orléannais. Thereafter Eugene Giraud became a student in the studio of history painter and portraitist Louis Hersent and also frequented the studio of the engraver Joseph Theodore Richomme and end 1821, entered the Beaux-Arts in Paris. In 1826, the young artist won the Grand Prix de Rome engraving section.
