First edition illustrated with a frontispiece and 23 hand-colored lithographs.
Publisher's cardboard in full percolated marine polychrome gauffrée. Smooth back to the cathedral with polychromies. Large plate on the upper plate, rich polychrome frame. Large gold iron historiated on the second board.
Very nice copy.
The book contains the great legends of the Bible, told as fables and illustrated in the Sulspian style in which Hollywood draws extensively for the realization of his biblical films.
