First edition abundantly illustrated with 1110 in-text illustrations on wood and 50 color lithographs by Mesnel from the author's photographs.
Binding in half black glazed vintage calf with small corners. Restorations on caps and joints, boards of blue percaline redone, corners redone. Traces of marginal clear wetting on the first sheets and the last table sheets. Freckles scattered mainly in the margins.
